From Saturday, 14 March 2020 through Sunday 10 May 2020, the Kingdom of Denmark's borders are closed to all international travellers who do not hold a Danish passport or who do not have residence in the Kingdom of Denmark. Some exceptions apply.
As Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark, these travel restrictions also apply for Greenland.
And, from Friday 20 March 2020 at midnight through Thursday 30 April 2020, Greenland closes its own geographical and domestic borders, meaning no traffic to or from the island is permitted, and no traffic is permitted even between towns/settlements, be that by commercial or private methods. This counts for EVERYONE, whether they hold a Danish passport or not.
Due to these increasingly restrictive travel regulations and the uncertain nature of domestic and international travel in the coming months, the planning committee for North Atlantic Native Sheep & Wool Conference 2020 has decided to postpone the North Atlantic Native Sheep & Wool Conference in Narsarsuaq, Greenland to next year.
Exact date to be determined.
